Establishment of the Commissariat of the Supreme People's Council

– The transformation of the Management of the Citizens’ Committee in Poznań into the Commissariat of the Supreme People’s Council. An announcement concerning elections to the “Partition Sejm of Poznań” (“sejm dzielnicowy”) and an address to the public on the topic of waiting for the result of the peace congress, which, with the participation of Poles, was to determine western borders of Poland, were published. The Security Division, led by Second Lieutenant Jan Maciaszek, was formed at the Commissariat.

– People’s Councils were founded in Kościan, Śmigiel, Śrem, Pleszew and Opalenica.
