Battles for Kąkolewo

– Two German armoured trains coming from Leszno attacked Kąkolewo. They made it to the edge of the forest, where insurgents had dismantled the railway tracks. German forces occupied the railway station, but did not take the village. Companies from Borek, Krobia and Śrem managed to push the enemy back, who was then forced to withdraw the damaged trains. 3 insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded.

In its operational message, the 1st Division of the Supreme Command of the Polish Army wrote that the German train attacking Babimost from Zbąszyń had withdrawn.
