New military division of territories occupied by insurgents

– Instead of 9 military districts and four groups of fronts, a division into three new military districts was introduced. Military District 1 – in the north, commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Kazimierz Grudzielski; Military District 2 – in the west, commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Michał Milewski; Military District 3 – in the south, commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Adolf Jan Kuczewski. The district commanders were responsible for the process of retaining occupied lands, and for the recruitment of new soldiers as part of the general conscription announced.

– In the Ostrzeszów section, insurgents fought for the town of Korzeń, while in the Chodzież section Poles occupied the village of Radwanki.
