The Germans carried out offensive, provocative actions on all sections of the front in Greater Poland. Areas that particularly severely suffered from artillery fire were those regions near Rynarzewo, Międzychód, Kargowa, Miejska Górka and Kępno. Approximately 30 Polish soldiers were killed and nearly 150 were wounded only from 23 to 26 February.
