Expansion of the units of the People’s Guard in Greater Poland

– New members of the People’s Guard are recruited in Poznań. Four rallies, the participants of which were encouraged to join the PG, were held.

– The Jarocin centre, from where emissaries were sent to Koźmin Wlkp. or Żerków, played a particularly important role. Contact was made with members of the Polish Military Organisation in Szymanowice and Słupca, who received weapons, ammunition and uniforms. Similarly to the case of Borek, 60 rifles were given to Ignacy Talarczyk’s company.
