Address of the Guard and Security Service’s Command
– Irrespective of the activities undertaken by the Supreme Command of insurgent armies, the Guard and Security Service issued an address concerning the formation of the army. It said: “We want to form an army that will be disciplined and well-organised. Its soldiers will be people of honour defending their own families, land and propertyˮ.
– Two companies of the Guard and Security Service took over Biedrusko, while volunteers commanded by Kazimierz Nieżychowski seized local artillery guns which made it possible to form insurgent artillery.
