Fighting under Nowa Wieś Zbąska and the death of Second Lieutenant Korneliusz Mann

– The 2nd company of the 2nd Poznań battalion commanded by Second Lieutenant Korneliusz Mann defended insurgent positions near Nowa Wieś Zbąska, which was attacked by enemy units that outnumbered the insurgents. The occupied positions were left and only after receiving reinforcements did the insurgents counterattack, managing to recover all of the previously occupied positions. The Polish army lost 20 soldiers, including Second Lieutenant Mann. Some of the soldiers were wounded or taken into captivity.

– German artillery fired at insurgent positions in the Szubin and Łabiszyn section.

– In the Górka section, attacks on Żołędnica and Kawcze were repulsed
