Arrival of an allied mission from Warsaw to Poznań

Around 8:00 am. crowds of Poles, together with General Józef Dowbor-Muśnicki and the Mayor of Poznań, Jarosław Drwęski, gathered in front of the railway station to welcome the Inter-Allied Mission arriving from Warsaw. School lessons were cancelled, shops and institutions were closed. A parade of infantry, artillery and cavalry units was held on Wolności Square. The mission held its first meeting. Its members gathered to analyse if the provisions of the Trier armistice were being duly followed.
