In 2001

19 – Father Eustachy Rakoczy, Ph.D., - the Jasna Góra chaplain of Independence Soldiers, and the author of the album entitled “Jasnogórska Hetmanka” which shows the links of the veterans of the Greater Poland Uprising with the Jasna Góra Mother of God the Defender.

20 – prof. Benon Miśkiewicz – a historian and author of many publications, above all, related to military history. A co-author of the synthesis of the Greater Poland Uprising and author of many articles regarding the military aspects of the history of the uprising.

21 – Władysław Purczyński Ph.D. – a researcher of regional history, especially the history of the Greater Poland Uprising, the author of several books about the uprising, and the initiator of the commemoration of the uprising in Wągrowiec with commemorative plaques and names of streets.

22 – Lieutenant Colonel Wojciech Zawadzki - director of the Museum of Tradition of the Pomeranian Military District in Bydgoszcz, the author of the biographical dictionary of Bydgoszcz residents – participants of the uprising, and the initiator and organiser of exhibitions, conferences and art contests devoted to the history of the uprising.

23 – The Ignacy Paderewski Poznań Teachers’ Choir conducted by Ryszard Łuczak - promoter of Greater Poland Uprising songs and the organiser of open-air events – “The Arrival of Ignacy Paderewski to Poznań”.


In 2002

24 – Anna and Józef Grajek - leaders of the Society for the Memory of Gen. Józef Dowbor-Muśnicki in Lusowo near Poznań, and organisers of the Museum of the Uprising and its commanders in Lusowo and annual popular science conferences devoted to the subject of the uprising.

25 – Edward Smolibowski- a visual artist, sculptor and author of 40 graphics, drawings and posters related to the Greater Poland Uprising 1918/1919, organiser and co-organiser of exhibitions devoted to the uprising, and creator of medals with images of the commanders of the uprising.

26 – The Greater Poland Headquarters of the Polish and Guiding Scouting Association which bears the name of Greater Poland Insurgents in Poznań – promoter of knowledge and organiser of educational work related to the history of the Greater Poland Uprising and the life of its participants.


In 2003

27 – Bogusław Wołoszański – author of the script and producer of the film “Chwała Zwycięzcom” devoted to the Greater Poland Uprising 1918/1919.

28 – prof. Zbigniew Dworecki – a historian and author of many valuable studies related to the Greater Poland Uprising, concerning, among other things, the Supreme People's Council and the Partition Sejm of Poznań.

29 – Ryszard Danecki – a poet who wrote letters about the uprising, including “Wiwat Poznańczycy!”, and a promoter of the insurgent tradition.

30 – Eligiusz Tomkowiak – a regionalist, author of numerous scientific and popular science studies about the Greater Poland Uprising 1918/1919, the initiator of youth sessions in Dopiewo and exhibitor of collections devoted to the uprising in different museums and cultural centres.

31 – Bogdan Czerwiński - vice-president of the WTK, vice-president of the Greater Poland Branch of the Society for the Memory of the Greater Poland Uprising 1918/1919, president of the circle in Stęszew, the initiator of exhibitions and popular science sessions devoted to the Greater Poland Uprising in the Regional Museum in Stęszew and author of studies related to the uprising.

32 – “Gazeta Pomorska” – a promoter of the insurgent tradition which actively cooperates with the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Branch of the Society for the Memory of the Greater Poland Uprising 1918/1919 in Bydgoszcz.


In 2004

33 – prof. Lech Trzeciakowski – the author of many historical publications related to the history of Greater Poland in the 19th and 20th century and a consultant of the following films: “Najdłuższa wojna nowoczesnej Europy” and “Chwała Zwycięzcom”.

34 – Marek Rezler Ph.D. - one of the initiators of the Kościan – Koszalin conferences devoted to the Greater Poland Uprising, an author of many publications and contributions related to the Greater Poland Uprising and a promoter of the history of Greater Poland in the 19th and 20th centuries.

35 – Marian Kadow - animator of activities related to the insurgent tradition in the area of the Bydgoszcz and Kuyavian region.

36 – “Gazeta Wyborcza” – Poznań, promoter of knowledge and insurgent traditions, the initiator of press activities organised with the idea of the preservation of insurgent tombs in Greater Poland’s cemeteries.
