 In 2005

37 – Marek Jeleniewski – a doctor of humanities, historian, lecturer at Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz and a well-known columnist in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province who wrote about the history and traditions related to the Greater Poland Uprising 1918/19 and its participants.

38 – Bogumił Wojcieszak – the grandson of Greater Poland insurgents, doctor of humanities, historian and publisher. He is the co-owner of the “Opalgraf” publishing company in Opalenica and an adjunct and lecturer at the Higher School of Management and Banking in Poznań.

39 – Chair of Humanities of International Relations at the Koszalin Technical University – this is a well-known scientific-research and popularising centre in Poland undertaking those issues related to the Greater Poland Uprising 1918/19.

40 – The Greater Poland Military Museum –the Branch of the National Museum in Poznań – this is the oldest museum which keeps records related to the history of the Greater Poland Uprising.

41 – The Museum of the Greater Poland Uprising – the Branch of the Greater Poland Museum of Independence Fighting in Poznań – this is the second museum in Poznań which keeps records of and commemorates the history and traditions related to the Greater Poland Uprising 1918/19.

 In 2006

42 – Stefan Bratkowski – a journalist, writer, honorary president of the Association of Polish Journalists, a co-author and director of the film series “Najdłuższa wojna nowoczesnej Europy”, and the author of the book entitled “Najkrótsza historia Wielkopolski” and many other publications and TV broadcasts.

43 – Janusz Karwat – a historian, professor of humanities and author or co-author of many publications about the Greater Poland Uprising, including “Od idei do czynu. Myśl i organizacje niepodległościowe 1887-1919” and “Dowódcy Wielkopolskich Oddziałów Kawalerii i Broni Pancernej”.

44 – Ludwik Krumrey – a teacher, regionalist, promoter and documentalist of the history of the Greater Poland Uprising 1918-1919 in the Gniezno poviat. Also the author of many studies and exhibitions devoted to the traditions of the Greater Poland Uprising.

45 – Zdzisław Walczak – a painter of battle scenes, lieutenant colonel of the Polish Army, author of many portraits of commanders of the Greater Poland Uprising and a cycle of pictures regarding the independence fighting in Pomerania and many other regions.

46 – The Department of Education and Defence Promotion of the Ministry of National Defence – for its support of and patronage over the undertakings of the Society for the Memory of the Greater Poland Uprising, promotion of the insurgent tradition in the military environment and the creation of conditions for the implementation of an agreement on cooperation between the Society for the Memory of the Greater Poland Uprising and the Minister of National Defence. The award was received by the deputy director of the Department, Colonel Jerzy Gutowski.

47 – Organisers of Scout Ham Radio Contests: “Homage to Greater Poland Insurgents”, Jan Bonikowski and Jerzy Szkudlarz – for the popularisation of the knowledge and traditions of the Greater Poland Uprising on radio, and for reaching different corners of the world including Polish communities abroad.

 In 2007

48 – Marian Dominiczak – a regionalist, promoter of the knowledge and traditions of the Greater Poland Uprising and president of the Society for Śrem Land Enthusiasts. The initiator of many undertakings that document the insurgent traditions in Śrem, including the establishment of the Greater Poland Insurgents park, restoration of the monument of the “Drummer...”, commemorative plaques, etc. Also the organiser of the annual “Meetings of Generations” – involving the families of participants of the Greater Poland Uprising.

49 – Jan Głodek – a regionalist, scout activist and well-known promoter of the history of the Greater Poland Uprising in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province. A documentalist and author of a photo album and exhibitions of places related to the Greater Poland Uprising. The initiator of  naming certain groups after heroes of the Greater Poland Uprising, including the Troop of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association in Szubin. The co-organiser of the Regional Museum in Szubin.

50 – Jan Jajor – a teacher, regionalist, social activist, well-known for undertakings related to the commemoration of the history and traditions of the uprising in Jarocin. The author of many articles and books about the fight of the Jarocin residents for independence in the years 1918/19. The author of biographical notes of insurgents. The collector of historical documents and inspirer of the commemoration of insurgent sites in the Jarocin area.

51 – The Zenon Erdmann Museum of the Szubin Area – for the popularisation and documentation of the history of the Greater Poland Uprising in the Szubin area. The museum is the owner of many precious documents, original exhibits and tokens from the years of fighting for independence. The museum houses permanent exhibits of the “Uprising 1918/19”; and in its library there are also many regional studies regarding the Uprising. The Museum enjoys great popularity in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian province and its materials are used by teachers, students and researchers. “The Drummer…” was received by the director of the Museum from the Marshal of the Greater Poland Province – Marek Woźniak and the President of the Society for the Memory of the Greater Poland Uprising.
